Klar’s Lily Milk & Quince Soap

From the end of the 19th century until the 1950s, lily milk soap was not just a hit in the Klar household, but up and down the country. One reason behind its popularity was the myth that accompanied the trumpet-shaped plant. The lily was once the symbol of Zeus’ wife Hera in ancient Greece. As legend has it, while Hera was breastfeeding Hercules, drops of her milk fell to earth creating the first lilies. In other cultures the lily has long been regarded as a symbol of purity and strength. We have now combined it with the sweet and fruity quince fragrance creating an exquisite scent sensation. Klar’s lily milk & quince skin care soap cleanses with a mild and creamy lather, while rich plant oils, vitamin E and luscious lily extract soothes your skin making it soft and silky smooth. After being rolled seven times it is then stored for a number of months, producing a particularly dense soap free of flaws and cracks, thus ensuring the fragrance retains its freshness from the first wash to the last.

Due to a sevenfold rolling and a subsequent storage phase, the soaps are particularly compacted. This avoids cracks and breaks and the fragrance is preserved until the last wash.
