Castle Skeleton Clock | Exposed Movement by Hermle
A mechanical marvel with centuries of pedigree. Modeled after the late-16th-century “castle clocks” prized across Germany and Switzerland, this Castle Skeleton Clock showcases time’s inner poetry—exposed brass gears, pendulum, verge escapement, and a top bell that chimes on the hour. Hand-assembled by German maker Hermle (est. 1922), it’s both historical benchmark and modern heirloom.
Roman numerals, ornate black hands, and a wrought-iron cage frame complete the look. The 8-day movement delivers the soothing tick of true analog time—elegant on mantels, libraries, or offices.
Features:
- Authentic skeleton design with visible gears & pendulum
- Hour strike on polished top bell
- 8-day brass movement; classic verge escapement
- Wrought-iron cage; Roman dial with ornate hands
- Approx. overall height 24½ in; dial Ø 5½ in
Own a living piece of horological history—the Castle Skeleton Clock turns every hour into theatre.
