Tiny Bolga Basket – Handwoven Mini Market Basket
Small in scale but made like the full-sized original, this Tiny Bolga Basket is handwoven in Bolgatanga, Ghana from sturdy river grass, locally known as elephant grass. The single handle is wrapped in naturally tanned goat skin for a comfortable grip and a traditional finishing touch.
Use it for small gifts, Easter treats, berry picking, countertop storage, or anywhere a little basket proves more useful than expected. Each is woven by hand, so variations in shape, weave, and leather color are part of its character. If needed after shipping, the flexible grass can be dampened and gently reshaped by hand.
